Simon Powers is a strategic advisor, board member, author, and internationally recognised expert in organisational change.

With over 20 years of experience, Simon has worked across sectors and geographies to help organisations become better places to work : more human, more resilient, and more aligned to purpose.

His work bridges strategy, leadership, and systems thinking. Simon has partnered with senior leadership teams and executive boards to navigate complexity, align direction, and implement meaningful transformation.

He has personally coached and mentored hundreds of senior change agents, executives, and public sector leaders — including senior politicians — supporting them through high-stakes change, leadership challenges, and organisational renewal.

Simon is the founder of a global consultancy and training business focused on enterprise transformation and leadership development. Through this platform, he has trained thousands of professionals in organisational change strategy, many of whom have gone on to lead significant change efforts across industry and government. His approach is grounded in systems thinking, adult development theory, and a deep belief in people-first, purpose-led transformation.

In 2024, Simon stepped down from the board of AWA Norge, where he had shaped the company’s strategic direction and authored the intellectual property that underpinned its success. He led the facilitation of a management buyout and completed the sale of the business in December of that year.

Simon is the author of Change: A Practitioner’s Guide to Enterprise Agile Coaching, a widely respected book that has become a core resource for transformation professionals and leadership teams worldwide. His contributions have been recognised with multiple awards for innovation, leadership, and impact in the field of organisational development.

Simon is currently open to new opportunities as a Non-Executive Director, Board of Trustee, or strategic advisor. He brings deep experience, practical insight, and a systems lens to organisations ready to evolve how they lead, collaborate, and deliver lasting value in a complex world.

There is nothing better than seeing a team of people, or indeed a whole organisation reach its potential and grow through the problems they face. This is my passion.

I see the positive potential, remain calm in the face of conflict, and find a way forward.

I have two children, Thomas and Chester, whom I spend as much time as possible with. I love travelling, kung fu, and riding electric dirt bikes. I like the sunshine, walks, and spending time with my girlfriend."
